Good gravy! It's been a while! Sorry... I have just been crazy (AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) busy as of late. Whether it be sickness (can you say sinus infection on top of bronchitis? oh yea, that was a fun fall break for me), or homework/quizzes/tests (yep. I TOTALLLY have a B in Bio. woo ha!!!! and i got an 84 on my last math test!!! heck yes!), watching the Crimson Tide put the hurt on some poor unsuspecting team (haha... North Texas never saw us coming. haha. And hello? Mt. Cody in the Tennessee game!!! Can I get a ROOOLLLL TIDDEEE!!!!! **ahem, that was totally for mom ;)**), or just being the typical college student trying to hang out with friends, it has been a crazy October. Unfortunately, I did not make it into the sorority I Rushed for, but I am considering doing it again in the Spring. Haven't decided yet. I go soon to register for classes (OMG!!!! Where the heck did my semester go?!?!?!) I have no idea what I want to take... This will be quite interesting. haha. I'm just sayin'. I cannot believe SP made it to playoffs again!! OMG! Why couldn't they do that last year?!?! Me and Daddy are going to the first game this Friday, then the fam is headed to the farm for Kayleb's 3rd Birthday! (Good grief... I cannnot believe it has been 3 years!!! Talk about ridonkulousness!)
Anywho... There isn't much else going on right now... I think I have finally gotten into a rythm and I am rollin' with it. haha.
Love!
Song of the moment: (as seen on my facebook. haha. great song!)
As surely as the sun will rise,
You'll come to us.
As certain as the dawn appears
You'll come,
Let your glory fall as you respond to us
Spirit rain
Flood into our thirsty hearts again.
You'll come.
("You'll come" by Hillsong. Love it!!!)

So... Today has pretty much been a whole day of doing nothing. haha. Went to Psych and learned about the Central Nervous System. I then came back to my room and I have just been hanging out until I realized I needed to fill out an application for the Young Women Leaders Program, which is a program that lets college students mentor 5th (I think) grade girls through one of the local elementary schools. So I did that, played a few games of Solitaire (my new obsession) while watching Bones (the ones on TNT) and then started reading for my English class tomorrow. I read like 4 poems by this Puritan guy Edward Taylor and then realized I have no idea what I read. GGRREEEEEAAAAAAAATTTT. So I am going to finish reading when I get back from the informational meeting for Alpha Delta Chi, which is this Christian sorority on campus. I don't know for sure if I am going to do it.. But I think it will be fun if I do decide to.
Umm.... going to Atlanta this weekend.. I am going to drive in Georgia for the first time (=O) and go see Monica on Sunday.. Wish me luck!
Love! <3
I've been beaten down, I've been kicked around,
But she takes it all for me.
And I lost my faith, in my darkest days,
But she makes me want to believe.
They call her love, love, love, love, love.
They call her love, love, love, love, love.
She is love, and she is all I need.

8-26's footnote that got left out
Here is the footnote that randomly disappeared from my 8-26 post. haha.
So, I have found that since I have been in Tuscaloosa, my taste in guys has done like a total 180. haha. Instead of liking the guys that you see and are instantly attracted to based on looks (you know, the ones that you (and every other girl around you) instantly swoon over), I found that I like the guys that you really have to look at to see their good-lookingness. I don't know if that makes any sense, but thats just how it is now. haha.

Baha! Bones can not escape me! (15 days btw! =D) I am watching it now in my room! yayayay!!! so exciting. Anywho, the last two days have been crazy busy as usual. If I am not reading for English/Psych, then I am in class... If I am not doing one of those things, I am doing Math homework before their due times.. so ridiculous. So, yesterday I had Psych and before I met Rachel for dinner, I had the displeasure of having to read "The Day of Doom" by Michael Wigglesworth (hahhaha.. I love his name. baha.) Anyways, I went to dinner with Rach and we got Arctic Blasts from Lakeside (they have a "convienent store" on the upper floor of the dining hall. SO cool) and we walked to my Bio lab.. all the time seemingly drunk because we couldn't stop laughing at ourselves.. Good times.. Good times. Anyways... I had lab, then I went to ONE; that was amazing. Then I came back to my room.
Today, I had English and Bio. After Bio, I came back to my room and did my Math homework and read for Psych. I also had to make a CVS run b/c, like everyone else on campus, I may be getting sick. Grreeeeaaattt... But I have cough drops and Zyrtec.. so i should be good. haha.
Tomorrow, I have a meeting for Alpha Delta Chi, which is the Christian sorority on campus so I sadly will not be able to go to Unashamed. =( (They meet at the same time. saad)
Ready to go to Atlanta this weekend! And Athens to see Monica! Soo much fun!
Love! <3

I know right now that's not the way you feel

Oh dear goodness... I have been CRAZY busy!!! I am just now getting some free time. OK, rundown of the weekend: got home Friday and me and daddy contemplated going to Spain Park's football game.. decided not to (but we kind of wish we had b/c go figure, they won. haha). Saturday, I got up and went shopping with mom and Al, got a rug and curtains for the dorm; then me and daddy went to see The Final Destination.. which we thought was really good... but my car will not be going through the car wash ever again... I will wash it my dang self. I'm just sayin'. Sunday was church, then we stopped by Wal-Mart where I got a new dress (:D) and then we went to breakfast/lunch at the Egg & I.. that was interesting... I chose possibly the worst food that I could have chosen.. haha. I waited until after dinner to leave... got back to Tuscaloosa at like 7:30... only to have to make 3 trips to get all the stuff out of my car... and that was only the stuff that NEEDED to come out. haha. I had to get the rest out this afternoon.
Today, I went to class at 10, met Rachel for lunch afterwards, class at 12, room at 1 to print out Math stuff, math at 2, then back to the room at 3 to read, read, read my butt off... it was ridiculous and took quite a few hours.
Tomorrow, I only have Psych (haha... Bones... haha), so when I get back to my room I am going to have to do even more reading for Wednesday... grrr.... But on the plus side, after my lab at 6, I have ONE. Which will be SUPER fun! So exciting.
Unashamed Thursday night was craziness! There were sooo many people there! It was basically like a giant concert.... which meant, of course, that I loved it. haha. It really made me want to go to The Basement... but I don't remember when it is... I need to look into that.
Love! <3

Ok, so it was brought to my attention last night that I have not blogged in a while. I am sorry about this. I have crazy busy. So here is the rundown of the last two days:
Tuesday: I woke up early to go to the doctor about my random foot injury only to find out that it was not fractured in any way (which is good), but he doesn't know what to do about it (which is not). So, if it still hurts in a few weeks, I am to go back and he will send me to someone else like a sports medicine person. Woo hoo. I then drove back to Tuscaloosa, took a nap and went to Psych. Then, I went back to my room and hung out for a bit, only to remember that I still had not purchased my lab manual for my Bio lab, which I would need that night, as I had my first lab. So I frantically powerwalked (apparently I do that now... GRRREEEEAAAATTTT.....) my way to the Ferg and the SUPe Store to buy it and a binder to put it in. All of which cost me a whopping: $5. WOOOO HOOOO!!!! haha. Then, I went to dinner with Rachel at Lakeside. Then, we walked to where I was hoping my building was for said lab. haha. We found it after going in and out of buildings. It was quite entertaining and the only thing I missed was the guy calling roll.
OH! Sidenote: I have ALL MALE TEACHERS!!!!=( There is absolutely no estrogen in my days. It is qute annoying.
Anywho. So, I stayed in lab until 7:50, at which time I headed to yet another building where I had no idea where I was going. That was entertaining. I ended getting to ONE (Highland's college small group) freakishly early, so I went to the bathroom, thinking that could kill some time. Oh, it did. Trust me. I ended up freaking out because I thought I was locked in the stall and would have to climb out from the bottom. (Which, can I just say.... EEEEEWWWW!!!!!!) And then, once I finally wrenched (I am not totally sure that is the right word... haha) the door open, I had the fun task of trying to work the sink... That took about two minutes. Talk about ridonkulousness. I am just happy no one was in the bathroom with me. haha. So, I walk into the auditorium where we are meeting, and I sit down behind this girl that I don't know. The guy in front of her turns around to ask our names. I start talking to said girl in front of me and the girl sitting next to, yet a few seats down from, her. Then, this really cute guy* (see foot note ;)) came in and sat down next to me, but down one seat. We all get into really intense conversations. It was quite fun. We started about 30 minutes late, so I learned a lot about these three people sitting around me... Mostly the guy; we talked the most. I loved it. Then, when it actually started, I took so many notes that the front of my note sheet is almost not legible. haha. It was great... The guy was great... I will definitely be going back. So, that was over around 10 and I walked back to my room where me and Nancy continued to do our homework and watch "18 Kids & Counting" which, if you haven't watched it, is utterly ridonkulous. Yeesh. Then it was time for bed.
Wednesday: I got up early to finish my homework... Went to English... Then I met Alex and Rachel at Starbucks in the Ferg and we scoped out Get On Board Day. Then I had to go to Bio. After class, me and Rachel met up in the 90-some odd heat and went through every single table. We signed up for soooo much stuff. It was crazy. And freaking HOT!!!!!!!!!!! I found two Christian group things that I want to attend. One is Unashamed (see pic) and the other is Chi Alpha, which a Campus Christian Ministry. They are both meeting tomorrow... which is kind of sad.. but hopefully I can find some way to go to both. OH! And, the Basement was the Grant's Mill campus! GRRR... I so want to go to that! But I don't know when it is. I will figure it out. Anyways! After G.O.B.D., we went to the Math Lab. For our math class, you have to have 3 hours in the lab. I think we got that all in one sitting. It was crazy. We then went to Lakeside and got dinner to-go and ate on the Quad, where we were then attacked by the swarms of gnats... But it was still fun experience and we don't understand why more people don't do it. Then, I had to make a Target run. And now I am home and blogging when I SHOULD be reading for Psych. Oh well. haha. I will probably do it when I get up in the morning. Class isn't until 12:30 anyways. haha.
Well... that's all for now.
Love! <3>
