Ok, so it was brought to my attention last night that I have not blogged in a while. I am sorry about this. I have crazy busy. So here is the rundown of the last two days:
Tuesday: I woke up early to go to the doctor about my random foot injury only to find out that it was not fractured in any way (which is good), but he doesn't know what to do about it (which is not). So, if it still hurts in a few weeks, I am to go back and he will send me to someone else like a sports medicine person. Woo hoo. I then drove back to Tuscaloosa, took a nap and went to Psych. Then, I went back to my room and hung out for a bit, only to remember that I still had not purchased my lab manual for my Bio lab, which I would need that night, as I had my first lab. So I frantically powerwalked (apparently I do that now... GRRREEEEAAAATTTT.....) my way to the Ferg and the SUPe Store to buy it and a binder to put it in. All of which cost me a whopping: $5. WOOOO HOOOO!!!! haha. Then, I went to dinner with Rachel at Lakeside. Then, we walked to where I was hoping my building was for said lab. haha. We found it after going in and out of buildings. It was quite entertaining and the only thing I missed was the guy calling roll.
OH! Sidenote: I have ALL MALE TEACHERS!!!!=( There is absolutely no estrogen in my days. It is qute annoying.
Anywho. So, I stayed in lab until 7:50, at which time I headed to yet another building where I had no idea where I was going. That was entertaining. I ended getting to ONE (Highland's college small group) freakishly early, so I went to the bathroom, thinking that could kill some time. Oh, it did. Trust me. I ended up freaking out because I thought I was locked in the stall and would have to climb out from the bottom. (Which, can I just say.... EEEEEWWWW!!!!!!) And then, once I finally wrenched (I am not totally sure that is the right word... haha) the door open, I had the fun task of trying to work the sink... That took about two minutes. Talk about ridonkulousness. I am just happy no one was in the bathroom with me. haha. So, I walk into the auditorium where we are meeting, and I sit down behind this girl that I don't know. The guy in front of her turns around to ask our names. I start talking to said girl in front of me and the girl sitting next to, yet a few seats down from, her. Then, this really cute guy* (see foot note ;)) came in and sat down next to me, but down one seat. We all get into really intense conversations. It was quite fun. We started about 30 minutes late, so I learned a lot about these three people sitting around me... Mostly the guy; we talked the most. I loved it. Then, when it actually started, I took so many notes that the front of my note sheet is almost not legible. haha. It was great... The guy was great... I will definitely be going back. So, that was over around 10 and I walked back to my room where me and Nancy continued to do our homework and watch "18 Kids & Counting" which, if you haven't watched it, is utterly ridonkulous. Yeesh. Then it was time for bed.
Wednesday: I got up early to finish my homework... Went to English... Then I met Alex and Rachel at Starbucks in the Ferg and we scoped out Get On Board Day. Then I had to go to Bio. After class, me and Rachel met up in the 90-some odd heat and went through every single table. We signed up for soooo much stuff. It was crazy. And freaking HOT!!!!!!!!!!! I found two Christian group things that I want to attend. One is Unashamed (see pic) and the other is Chi Alpha, which a Campus Christian Ministry. They are both meeting tomorrow... which is kind of sad.. but hopefully I can find some way to go to both. OH! And, the Basement was the Grant's Mill campus! GRRR... I so want to go to that! But I don't know when it is. I will figure it out. Anyways! After G.O.B.D., we went to the Math Lab. For our math class, you have to have 3 hours in the lab. I think we got that all in one sitting. It was crazy. We then went to Lakeside and got dinner to-go and ate on the Quad, where we were then attacked by the swarms of gnats... But it was still fun experience and we don't understand why more people don't do it. Then, I had to make a Target run. And now I am home and blogging when I SHOULD be reading for Psych. Oh well. haha. I will probably do it when I get up in the morning. Class isn't until 12:30 anyways. haha.
Well... that's all for now.
Love! <3>
